Japanese minority in Brasil

The bachelor's thesis deals with the Japanese minorty in Brazil. In the first chapters we get acquainted with history of Japanese migration including the situation of Japanese community during second world war. In the following chapters the specifics of each generation of Japanese immigrants will be explained. The culture of japanese community and the Brazilian's relationship towards Japanese immigrants will be approached as well. The main question of this thesis is the level of japeneseness in the current Japanese community. Key words: Brasil, Japan, immigrants, minority
